And so I saw they were having a fleck of a auction at Cover Craft back in Nov & I only said F-it, I'one thousand gonna order the whole gear up front & back. They arrived Sabbatum. Just wanted to give my initial impressions. The fit is excellent, these are the 'Precision Fit' version and I'd take to say they nailed information technology. I'm bold they had to 'build' these ones since my truck is an '06 and I'chiliad guessing they don't stock a ton for that twelvemonth. The color almost perfectly matches the Toyota grey interior. The instructions gave some absurd tips for installing. The sewing seems very good , I had to really yank on a few areas & never heard any ripping or seams coming apart. Very nice attention to detail. Headrests, armrests, fifty-fifty the backseat fold down arm residue/ cup holder fit killer. In that location are pockets behind the drivers / passengers seats besides every bit pockets under your legs in the front of the seats, and one on the left side nearly the drivers door. the straps / Velcro securing everything was very well designed and I had no trouble figuring it out. Lastly, I'm really satisfied due west/ the material itself. The stock cloth seems a little 'grabby' .... this stuff is more like 'canvass' .... very tight weave 'duck cloth' just like their pants / jackets. I recall it's going to be very piece of cake to maintain and clean should I spill something or stain them. Information technology'due south actually a little easier to arrive & out of the truck now . . . y'all kind of 'slide' across the seat now that it'southward not and then 'grabby'. If yous're looking for a soft 'velvet' interior these might not be for yous .... I'm an old crusty f'er, and they are in a 'truck' not a Tesla ..... I'g 100% satisfied. Just wanted to study in case anyone was considering them. A4BF0ED4-CD33-493D-BBBC-98AF751CBE8A.jpg

I think they were effectually $750, I remember when I was 'building' them on their website. (they accept that affair where you enter all the specifics about your truck) . . . I knew they were gonna exist pricey and didn't wanna see the damage lol. Merely I plan to continue this truck for a very long time, and and then I simply went for information technology. I'm sure there are much cheaper covers available that would work just as well, at a much lower price.

Thank you. That price seems reasonable to me given the apparent quality and good looks! My truck came with a nice set of neoprene type covers when I bought it 8 years agone. But they are showing their age and it's time for an upgrade.

    Keen review.
Your install and pics wait better than the pics on their web site.
Front seats are only $387. Not cheap, but not outrageous.
    Thanks for posting!
  9. Did you have to pull the seats to put them on?
  10. @HBTundra Aye I've read somewhere else that you lot accept to have the front seats completely out of the base to ensure proper fit. How labor intensive is it?

It wasn't bad at all. And I didn't have to remove the seats.(But I accept read that on some trucks it is easier to remove the seats).
The back threescore/40 bench splits and tilts forward offering plenty admission to make it actually straight forward.
I did all the headrests 1st to get used to it. I rolled them inside out 1st and and then unrolled them over the headrest. Did all 5 w/o screwing one upwardly.
Then I did the '40' of the threescore/40 rear bench cause that seemed the easiest.
The '60' portion took me a trivial longer crusade of the center armrest/ size etc. ...and my neighbor wouldn't finish bugging me. lol
The ii front end seats were really directly forrad, there was a (right and left) which I looked for before paw.
1 cool fox/tip that came in the instructions was if yous are having a trouble getting a section on, then utilize a slippery plastic back like a hefty bag inside the cover to assist slide it on . . . so just pull the bag out once you're there. I didn't have to do that, simply idea it was a cool tip.
This was my 1st time ever putting on seat covers and I'd say it took me ii-hours full. I was screwing around and not in a rush.
  13. @HBTundra Thats skilful news. Looking to do the aforementioned to mine soon. Thanks for the respond!
  14. They await neat. My event is if I'm gonna spend that money I'll spend some other $100 for katzkin leathers with heaters built in.

Yeah, they're def. not for everyone. I did expect at Katzkin, they seem super nice, I only felt these would be a better 'fit' for my use / needs. They have that rugged, 'tent-sheet' feel to them, which I was concerned about, simply turned out to be a non event. I'll be throwing tools in the back seat from time to time, and I experience confident these won't snag, tear, or become cut easily.

Hello HBTundra, do you know if they match factory color? I have a DC 2006 Tundra Limited, the commuter'south seat is gone, the passenger's is intact and the full back row is most new, so I desire to buy the ii front ones but I'll use only the driver's seat and save the other for downwards the road if I e'er need it. cheers
  20. They are curtain airbag friendly correct?

I know, cruel, just I figured since what I paid for my '06 was a 'down payment' on a new one, I could splurge a picayune.

I hear ya . . . I got them on sale around black friday. I you don't mind getting on their e-mail alerts, they do have sales from time to time,
  28. I take an sr5. How do you know if you practise not take airbags in your seats? I was under the impression that airbags in the forepart seats were standard. I of the first things I wanted was seat covers, and a dealer parts guy told me was to make sure they were made to work with airbags.
